We designed the necessary infrastructure and the appropriate procedures to allow medical helicopters night flights in Castilla la Mancha. We also defined all the requirements to be fulfilled by all elements and staff involved in the operation.
The proposed infrastructure includes the following:
-Illuminated heliports.
-Illuminated helisurfaces.
-Fix bases for helicopter stationing.
-Security area for emergency landing.
-Obstacle beacon.
-Weather infrastructure.
-Medical air coordination center: CECOAS.
-VFRN Medical navigation routes.
-Design of best approach/take-off spots.
-Procedures.
-Performance and helicopter minimum of equipment.
-Crew and necessary qualification. |
